Welcome to the new chapter of our journey! Formerly known as Northside Tattooz Newcastle, we have changed our name to NORTHERN TATTOO COLLECTIVE. While our name has changed, our dedication to high quality tattooing and a welcoming atmosphere remains at the heart of everything we do.

To ensure a smooth transition for both our long-time regulars and new faces, please note the following:

  • The NORTHSIDE Legacy: The Hexham studio will remain the only studio operating under the original Northside Tattooz name in the UK.
  • We are committed to maintaining the studio’s reputation for excellence while introducing new guest artists and local community-focused events.

A huge Thank You to Allan ‘Low’ Lowther for trusting us with the future of the studio. This is a responsibility we don’t take lightly, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to carry to torch forward. We’re excited for what’s ahead and will always value the confidence he’s placed in us!

Our team comprises of 10 highly skilled artists, each specializing in a diverse range of styles, from classic Traditional and Japanese to contemporary Realism, Fine Line, Dotwork, and more. Whether you envision intricate Lettering, captivating Tribal designs, or fantastical Spiritual artwork, we have the perfect artist to bring your vision to life.

We’re passionate about creating unique and beautiful tattoos that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Our expertise extends beyond new creations, as we also excel in cover-ups and the refreshing and redesigning of older tattoos.
